Cosy Traditional Highland Croft Cottage
The cottage was built in 1850 as a traditional thatched "blackhouse" by the Gairloch Estate for tenant crofters, and has been tastefully renovated to modern day standards, whist retaining much of its original charm. The cottage is full of character with low ceilings, multi-fuel stoves, exposed rafters and solid stone walls that are 2 feet thick.
