Super cottage in an ideal location. Beautiful views and an easy place to relax in.

We’ve had a really lovely time here on our honeymoon! The cottage is just gorgeous and we’ve felt worlds away from London. So much space and peace.

Fantastic week, lovely cottage, great views from every angle. Asked Rachel to marry me at the bottom of Beinn Eighe and she said “yes”. I’m sure we’ll be back, feels like home.

2 weeks of heaven! Fantastic weather, very few midges – saw otter eating, shore crabs, seals, porpoises & Minke whale. Been walking, cycling and driving. Cottage lovely. All we wanted & could ask for

Daytime sorties into the hills and at night the gentle mooing of the sea badgers to lul us to sleep. A fine place that seems to grow out of this landscape.

Perfect centre for a Highland holiday. Cosy cottage. Dog heaven.

We were welcomed by an owl circling the cottage – the beginning of a wonderful week of walking and playing house in your beautiful cottage. Can’t think of a better place for a holiday and hope very much to come back.

Such a wonderful spot! Late night walks on the beach have given us the best sleep. Don’t forget to visit Hillbillies book store and coffee house.

Due to the cottage being in such a wonderful location we have spent all of our time between here and the lovely beach. P.S. Dolly wants to live here forever!

Had a wonderful week skipping around in the hills and cycling around gorgeous countryside. What a beautiful location. I wish we never had to leave. Thank you so much.

Lovely, lovely cottage. Didn’t want to go home. Very relaxed. We will definitely be back in the New Year!  Thanks very much

We are in love with this wee cottage in the beautiful setting of Big Sands, Gairloch . It is in a stunning setting and gives some of the best views of the Torridon Mountains; on a clear day you can see Isles of Harris, Skye and Lewis. There is everything one needs including a wood burning stove that makes the cottage cope with all that Scotland weather can throw at it. Highly recommended… and the dogs love it too.

2 Big Sand is an idyllic escape from the stresses of life! The views are stunning and it’s barely a 5 minute walk to the beach from the house. Inside the decor is tasteful and classic cosy, country cottage. Upstairs is the perfect place for kids, loads of board games, jigsaws and a games console. The wood burner warms the place up quickly – sit back and listen to the fire crackle! The garden is great too, if you have a dog they will enjoy running around outside (it’s enclosed) The cottage is properly kitted out, they’ve thought of everything! I loved my stay here, it was perfect. I will definitely return!
